My uniform for the day (minus the eye patches)

Took my vitamins to prepare for the long day of hosting and cooking.
Thanksgiving is an all day event that starts at lunch. We eat Asian food to contrast the American Thanksgiving dinner. Noodles, leafy greens, ribs, kimbop, roast pork. Just some of the menu.

Plenty of champagne.

I love seeing everyone together and having a good time.

Thanksgiving dinner. A total group effort with my mom and Aunt Alice. So happy everything came out delicious.
Love seeing everyone filling their plates with food.
Dessert. Someone you find room in your stomach.
My daughters help me put together a trivia game of family memories. Questions about past girlfriends, my grandfather’s favorite Italian restaurant, who threw up behind the curtain at our cousin’s bar mitzvah. Some questions were debated. It was a lot of fun.

I host two Thanksgivings. One for my family, and one for my in-laws. For the second Thanksgiving with my in-laws, we BBQ, because who can eat two Thanksgiving meals in a weekend!

I love the holidays because they are filled with time with family, eating delicious food, hopefully some rest, and a lot of fun!
